Tentative Agreement Reached in SVASA/District Negotiations
The Snoqualmie Valley School District (SVSD) is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached on a new contract with the Snoqualmie Valley Administrative Secretaries Association (SVASA).
“I am very appreciative of the District’s bargaining team, the School Board and the members of the SVASA bargaining team that spent countless hours working towards a mutual agreement. It has been a long road, but we traveled it together and are thrilled to have a tentative agreement,” said Karen Seiser SVASA President.
SVASA plans to present the details of the tentative agreement to its members for a vote at their next general membership meeting.
“I want to personally express my sincere appreciation and gratitude toward both bargaining teams, for their efforts and commitment to this important process,” added SVSD Superintendent Rob Manahan. “It was obvious both sides respected one another and worked hard to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.”
