50 Professionals Share Career Insights with High School Students
On Wednesday, March 20, Mount Si High School hosted a Career Fair, for students in grades 10-12 to learn about a variety of career options first-hand from local professionals. The event took place during school hours and featured more than 50 professions representing a wide range of industries and fields of study for which students had expressed interest. Students had the opportunity to attend three presentations that sparked their interests.
We are grateful to the parents and community partners who volunteered their time to share their expertise and experience, to help Mount Si students explore a broad range of career options. The full list of the Career Fair presenters, with their job titles and organizations, is posted below.
The presenters shared job-related topics that included: their career path, a typical workday, competitive outlook of their field, educational/training requirements, application process, pros and cons of their job, salary range/benefits, high school classes that would pertain to their career, technology they use for work, their favorite part of the job, and notable experiences they’ve had in their career.
