SVSD Students Receive New Laptops for Use at School and Home

The Snoqualmie Valley School District has launched its One-to-One Device Initiative that will ensure all students (grades 6-12) have equitable access to technology resources and opportunities. Special thanks to our community and voters for supporting the Technology Levy that has made this investment in the future of our SVSD students possible.  After a year of careful planning and discussions with other districts that successfully implemented similar programs (and resolving some unexpected international shipping challenges of the devices), the district’s Technology Department was thrilled to begin assigning laptops to students the week of September 23.

Below are photos of the first “deployment” to students at Mount Si High School and Snoqualmie Middle School. In January, students attending Chief Kanim Middle School, Twin Falls Middle School, Two Rivers School and Running Start will also receive devices – for use at school and home for the duration of their school career in the Snoqualmie Valley School District.
