Local Businesses Support Student Study Spots

The Snoqualmie Valley School District is proud to partner with several local businesses who have volunteered to offer Student Study Spots during their business hours. This year the district’s One-to-one Computing Initiative is equipping all SVSD students in grades 6-12 with a device they can use at school and home. As a result, the ways in which students study and do schoolwork are changing.

The district is reaching out to local businesses with WiFi who want to show their support for students and help those who may need a space to study or do homework.  Student Study Spots offer students options if they don’t have internet access at home, if studying at home can be distracting, if they need to work with a partner and meeting outside a house is better, or if they just want a different location to study besides school and home.

To welcome students, participating businesses will display this flyer near their front entrance.
