Join the May 28 Lunch-IN Hosted by the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation

Given the Governor’s current “Stay at Home” proclamation and ongoing concern for everyone’s safety and well-being, the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation (SVSF) is changing its primary fundraising event -- from an in-person luncheon at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge to an online “Lunch-IN” on Thursday, May 28, 2020.  This will be followed by a “Week of Giving” through June 4.

Here is an important message from the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation, with the event details:

SVSF Week of Giving will follow from Thursday, May 28 to Thursday, June 4, 2020! For one week, we will keep our Lunch-IN virtual fundraiser open on our website: www.svsfoundation.org.

In times like these, we challenge ourselves to remain committed to our mission: to encourage excellence and assure opportunity in education for every student in the Snoqualmie Valley School District.

Responding to local community needs in the Snoqualmie Valley is as imperative as ever, and funds raised from the Virtual Lunch-IN will go towards initiatives that will support our mission. Immediate needs include hotspots for students learning virtually who don’t have reliable internet connectivity, working with district administration on ways for schools to rebuild school culture and community as our students return to schools. Tying into the SVSD Portrait of a Graduate work, we want to partner with schools to support each student’s heart, mind, and body, and your donations will help fund district-wide initiatives that connect those threads.

We hope you will join us for our Lunch-IN on Thursday, May 28, and invite your friends to join as well!  Thank you for your continuous support and generosity that benefits Snoqualmie Valley students.

Be well and stay safe,

SVSF Board Members
