SVSD Summer School Update and Learning Opportunities

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Snoqualmie Valley School District’s summer learning opportunities will look a little different this year.  The changes are outlined below.

Summer Engagement opportunities are available for all SVSD K-5 grade students. These Summer Engagement opportunities will be extension activities that are aligned to grade level learning standards. Click here to access the 2020 Summer Engagement activities/resources.  This information will be shared by elementary teachers as well.

Summer School will be offered to our Extended School Year students, English Learners, and eligible 3rd grade students in need of support in literacy. This year, Summer School will be a virtual experience, consisting of daily 30-minute, small group instructional sessions led by a SVSD teacher. Virtual Summer School sessions will take place Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. -12 noon, July 6-23.  Families with eligible students are receiving notification directly this week (June 15-19) with instructions on how to register their eligible student by June 26.

Mount Si High School Online Program will continue as planned for students in grades 9-12 – both for credit retrieval and credit enhancement.  Classes start June 29 through August 7. Attend an online orientation on June 29.  To learn more and register, visit the MSHS Online Summer Program webpage for details. (The Fitness in the Northwest High School PE course and Summer Bridge Programs have been cancelled and refunded.)
