This year, the best resource for information about starting school in Snoqualmie Valley is our district website (www.svsd410.org) and each SVSD school website. Be sure to explore the Distance Learning 2.0 Information link that explains how school will look different this year, and what you need to know to get started.
Given the shift to full remote learning, we needed the full month of August to prepare for the many changes involved with implementing new tools, training, and guidance for families. Because of so many changes this year (which takes into consideration changing state guidance and health conditions), we felt it was important to ensure the information we publish is as accurate as possible -- and thus our printed district newsletter issue is later than usual. (During a more typical year, we send the back-to-school issue to the printer by the end of July in order to deliver it to family mailboxes by mid-August.)
This issue includes required parent notifications, upcoming dates and resources that parents/guardians may want to refer back to, throughout the school year. Families of enrolled students, watch for your printed copy in the postal mail mid-September. We encourage you to keep this handy for future reference.
