COVID-19 Safety Reminder Heading into Mid-Winter Break

We’d like to thank everyone for their extraordinary efforts toward keeping our schools safe during the pandemic.  Of those who have already returned in person, your vigilance with timely and accurate daily attestations, and adherence to school safety protocols, has been essential to keeping students and staff safe at school. Continued diligence is required so we can welcome more students back to our schools, and be able to keep schools open.

With Mid-Winter Break ahead, February 15-19, this is a friendly reminder to heed the COVID-19 safety advice of public health officials. Please follow public health travel recommendations, limit gatherings, social distance at least 6 feet, practice good hand hygiene, and wear masks outside your household.

If you become ill or experience an exposure to a positive case during break, please consult your family health care provider and get tested. On Monday morning, February 22, if you are scheduled to attend school in person, please answer the health screen/attestation questions accurately. If you are not cleared to return, please do not come to in-person learning and contact your school nurse for return clearance.

Stay safe, and enjoy the break next week!
