PPP Students Win Science Contest for their Air Pollution Study

A group of high school students in the District’s Parent Partnership Program (PPP) recently won the 2021 CAICE Purple Air CLEAR Symposium contest – for the poster they created, showcasing their environmental research project.  Their work was selected one of only four posters honored, among over 250 students participating in the Collaborative Learning through Environmental and Aerosol Research (CLEAR) program this year.

Congratulations to 9th graders Hans Emerson, Aedan Kitchen and Arnav Venna, and their teacher Sam Randalls, for this impressive work!

Their research project and poster focused on “Comparing Pollution Levels in Low and High Population Cities.”  Click here for the winning posters.
