Summer Gifted Testing for New Students in Grades 2-8 for 2020-21

 

Registration for Summer Gifted Testing is now open.  Summer Gifted Testing is available for students who will be new to the Snoqualmie Valley School District in the 2021-22 school year, or current grade students who enrolled after the fall testing window (November 2020). 

 

This testing is to qualify students for gifted services, either in the STREAM self-contained classroom or through cluster classrooms in a single content area.  Click here for more information about the Snoqualmie Valley School District’s Gifted Program.  

 

How to register for testing:

If you wish to have your student/child tested, and meet the eligibility requirements, please complete the summer nomination form (links below) and return it to Darlene Lane in the Teaching and Learning Department at the District Office.  Forms must be mailed to PO BOX 400, Snoqualmie, WA 98065; hand carried to the District Office located at 8001 Silva Ave SE, Snoqualmie, 98065; or emailed to laned@svsd410.org.

 

All forms must be received by the District Office or be postmarked no later than July 22, 2021. For eligibility questions, please contact Darlene Lane at laned@svsd410.org.

Testing Event Details:

Testing will take place at Cascade View Elementary School on Wednesday, August 11, and Thursday, August 12, at 9 a.m. Transportation will not be provided. 2nd – 5th grade students will test both days, while 6th – 8th grade students will only test on August 11.

 

Once registration is closed and testing schedules are finalized, parents will receive notification by email with the specific arrival and pick-up times, as well as helpful testing day information.
