Students Can Ride Free this Summer on Snoqualmie Valley Transportation

Snoqualmie Valley Transportation (SVT) will provide bus service to youth 18 and younger free of charge, from June 1 through August 31, this summer.  Children under 10 must be accompanied. See the flyer below for details. All buses are lift and bike rack equipped.

This is the third summer this program has been offered through a partnership of the Mt. Si Senior Center, King County Metro, and the Snoqualmie Tribe.  Last year, they provided over 2,000 rides to Snoqualmie Valley youth.

SVT has implemented safety precautions for all their transportation services due to the pandemic. All riders and drivers are required to wear masks at this time. SVT drivers will also have masks available for riders who do not have one.

“We especially want to help working parents who don’t have the time to transport their kids around during the summer (or even during the school year when the buses can’t do after-school activities). We don’t want any students missing out because they don’t have a way to get around Snoqualmie Valley -- whether it’s for fun school activities like sports, arts, theater or other activities, or for a summer job,” said Amy Biggs, Director of Snoqualmie Valley Transportation.
