To honor our Class of 2021 graduates, both Mount Si High School and Two Rivers High School have been busy planning for how to celebrate their seniors in person, while adhering to school safety guidelines required by this pandemic. The following plans seek to recognize and celebrate our students’ accomplishments – in a manner that supports the safety of our students, families, staff and community.
Below is a summary of the activities planned by Mount Si High School and Two Rivers High School. The high schools will be notifying families of seniors directly with details, and posting update on their school websites.
Mount Si High School Graduation – Friday, June 18. The school and ASB students have worked hard to create a graduation plan that allows students to celebrate safely together in-person at the school. In order to accomplish this while supporting all safety requirements, three ceremonies will take place throughout the day – at 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Students must sign up for their preferred ceremony time, and each can invite two family members from their household to attend in person, with masks and distancing required. All three MSHS graduation events will be Livestreamed for spectators to watch from home. Senior families: see graduation details on the MSHS Seniors webpage. Two Rivers High School
The Two Rivers High School Graduation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 16 at 5:30 p.m., at Meadowbrook Interpretive Center. In order to accommodate an in-person event for the graduates, attendance must be by-invitation-only, since there is a maximum number allowed at the facility. Seniors may invite five guests from their household, and distancing and wearing masks will be required. The event will also be Livestreamed and recorded. A Senior Parade is planned for Saturday, June 12, at 6 p.m. along Snoqualmie Parkway - with students in cars and spectators on the sidewalks. Parents/guardians of Class of 2021 seniors are organizing/sponsoring this community event. NEW: Click here for a slide show of parade photos.
NOTE: Transition Learning Center students who turned 21 this year (who would typically “graduate” from TLC) have been invited to remain in the program for another school year, due to the pandemic. Therefore, there is no TLC ceremony this year.
We look forward to celebrating all Snoqualmie Valley Class of 2021 graduates soon!
