Two Rivers High School Celebrates Class of 2021 Graduates


This year, seven seniors from the Class of 2021 are graduating from Two Rivers High School.  On Wednesday, June 16, 2021, the following Two Rivers seniors earned high school diplomas (listed in alphabetical order):  Morgan Chapman-Hunt, William Downs, Lily Peacock, Archimedes Roestel, Derek Stephens, Alethia Thorne and Kaylyn Vandertuin.


The ceremony took place at the Meadowbrook Interpretive Center this year. Due to COVID restrictions and capacity limitations, guests were by invitation only.  The event was also livestreamed for the public.  Watch the graduation video here.

Special thanks to several community supporters for awarding local scholarships to Two Rivers students.  Congratulation to the following graduates who were awarded:

  • Snoqualmie Falls Credit Union Scholarship – Kaylyn Vandertuin
  • Snoqualmie Valley Rotary – Archimedes Roestel and Kaylyn Vandertuin
  • Ingrid Anderson Scholarship – Archimedes Roestel and Kaylyn Vandertuin

Two Rivers High School Principal Rhonda Schmidt expressed appreciation to the many community partners who support Two Rivers students throughout the year:  Trail Youth Coffee Home, Snoqualmie Valley YMCA, Friends of Youth, Sound Health, Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, King County Parks, Snoqualmie Historical Society, the Empower Youth Network, and the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation. She also thanked the dozens of businesses who serve as community mentors in the Two Rivers’ Big Picture Internship program.
