Holiday Giving Tree Program Needs your Help

Each holiday season, our community is blessed with support from a robust Holiday Giving Tree Campaign, sponsored by the Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis & Key Club at Mount Si High School. This program involves a community-wide effort to serve local families in need.

We need your help this year to ensure that all the families in the Valley who need financial support can take advantage of the free gifts offered through the Giving Tree program.

  • Families in need:  If your family could use a little help this year, please sign up at the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank for a time to “shop” at the Christmas Store that will be set up at Snoqualmie Casino. Food Bank hours are Monday (10 a.m.-1 p.m.), Tuesday (3-6:15 p.m.) and Wed. (9:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.)  Or, sign up through your school counselors.
  • Families wanting to donate:  If you can donate toys or new coats this year, Kiwanis began collecting presents this week (starting 11/21) at the Giving Trees placed in various locations across the Valley and in the donation boxes located in all the school offices. See item tags on the trees around town and attach that to your unwrapped donated gifts, or make a donation online. The deadline for donations is Monday, December 13.
