Voter Registration & February 8 Election Information


Voter Registration:  To vote in the upcoming King County election on February 8, 2022, voters must register or update their records by January 31 (8 days prior to Election Day) - you can do this easily online or by mail.  Additionally, people can register and vote in-person, up to Election Day February 8, at the King County Elections Office (919 SW Grady Way, Renton, WA  98057-2906).


Important Election Dates & Deadlines:  No stamps are needed on your ballot!

  • January 19    Ballots mailed to voters
  • January 19    Voting Centers open for voters who need assistance       
  • January 20    Ballot Drop Boxes open at public libraries in Fall City, North Bend, Snoqualmie
  • January 31    Deadline to register online, by mail, or to update an existing registration online
    • If you prefer to register by mail, you can print a form here (many languages available) or request a hard copy (English or Spanish) from the District Office or your school office.
  • February 8    Deadline for in-person voter registration
    • Visit the King County Elections Office at 919 SW Grady Way, Renton, WA, 98057-2906. Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Email or 206-296-8683.
  • February 8 Election Day! 
    • Ballots must be completed, signed and postmarked, on or before February 8, to be counted. Or, submit your ballot to a Ballot Drop Box before 8 p.m. on Election Day. No stamps needed.
  • February 18 February Election certified
