Register now for SVSD Summer 2022 Learning Classes

Explore the variety of summer learning opportunities available through our district.


Elementary School SVSD Summer Program -  by invitation only

Elementary K-4 Summer School registration will be by invitation only. School staff will work to identify students most in need of summer school by reviewing multiple academic, engagement, and social emotional data points gathered throughout the year. Those select families will receive an email invitation for their student, with registration information for the following session. This program will focus on targeted small-group instruction in English Language Arts & math.


Program Dates: July 5-22, Monday-Thursday

Times: 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Location: Timber Ridge Elementary School 

Cost: No cost - by invitation only


Mount Si High School Online Summer Program

The MSHS Online Summer Program is a 6-week, 100% online program that provides high school students the opportunity to earn a .5 credit or to recover up to 1.0 credit towards high school graduation. Click here for the program flyer.

Program Dates: June 27-August 5, Monday-Friday

Enrollment Window: May 2 to June 24, 2022


Course Options for Current MSHS Students

  • Diagnostic Credit Recovery (limit 2 semester .5 courses) - $350 each.  Students may repeat a previously failed semester course to recover the (.5) credit. See course list for options & details.
  • Credit Enhancement (limit 1 semester .5 course) - $375 each.  Motivated students may take a semester course to earn (.5) credit.  See course list for options & syllabus.

Course Options for Incoming Freshmen

  • Credit Enhancement (limit 1 semester .5 course) - $375 each.  Motivated students may take either online Physical Education* or Health.  See course list for syllabus.

*NOTE: Summer School online P.E. does not replace Freshman year P.E. This credit will count towards your additional .5 P.E. requirement.

Mount Si High School Summer School Physical Education Class

This in-person, outdoor adventure Physical Education (P.E.) course is an excellent opportunity for high school students, including incoming freshman, to earn a .5 credit that applies toward their P.E. graduation requirements. This course will feature Northwest fitness activities and diverse recreation opportunities in a variety of locations. Students will learn fundamental skills that promote outdoor exercise (hiking, biking, rock climbing) and healthy fitness habits. Class is limited to 30 students.


UPDATE: Registration deadline extended to July 8 or when class limit is reached.


For students entering grades 9-12 in the 2022-23 school year:

Program Dates: July 11-22, Monday-Friday

Times: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: Mount Si High School and various local field trip locations. 

Cost: TBD

    • For income-qualified families who register, this class will be free, including any field trip fees.  Qualified families please reference your eligibility on the online registration form. Find information about the Free & Reduced Meal application process here.
