Are You Registered to Vote?

 
To participate in the upcoming General Election on November 8, 2016, citizens must register to vote or update their records, no later than 29 days prior to the election. New voters can register in person at a King County election office until 8 days before an election.
 
Voter registration deadlines:
  • September 27    National Voter Registration Day
  • October 10       Deadline to register to vote 
  • October 19        Ballots and voters’ pamphlets mailed.
  • October 31        In-person voter registration deadline for new voters. 
  • November 8      Election Day!  Ballots must be postmarked on or before this date, or returned to a ballot drop box by 8 p.m., to be counted.
