2-Hour Late Start with Limited Transportation to All Areas – Wednesday, February 6

On Wednesday, February 6, all Snoqualmie Valley Schools will have a 2-Hour Late Start with Limited Transportation to All Areas (A, B, C). This is due to icy road conditions and concern for the safety of students and staff as temperatures are predicted to remain below 20 degrees tomorrow morning. There will be no AM Preschool, no AM Encompass, and no out-of-district transportation provided.

If you need to verify your snow routes bus stop locations, please refer to the Emergency Transportation webpage. Please note that when the district runs “Limited Transportation” in the morning, students will be delivered to the same bus stop locations (snow routes) after school regardless of after-school road conditions.

The district will continue to monitor conditions.  If conditions change and we determine that schools need to close, we would provide an update by 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. For information on where to look for updates regarding the status of school, please click here

CORRECTION:  We regret that an email Tuesday morning (2/5) incorrectly reported that schools will be closed Wednesday (2/6).  Despite our efforts to add correct information right away, we understand there may still be some confusion in the community.  Please note that the 2-Hour Late Start notice above is the accurate information for Wednesday, February 6.

We appreciate your patience and understanding when unpredictable winter weather impacts our schools.
