Voter Registration Information for the Upcoming Election


The deadline to register to vote online, by mail or to update registration information is March 25 to participate in the next King County election. New voters or those new to Washington State may also register to vote in person until 8 days before an election – which is April 15 for the upcoming April 23 election.


Are you registered to vote?  To check your voter registration status, visit MyVote on the Secretary of State’s website. There you can also verify if there are any measures on this ballot pertaining to your area.


Key election dates:

  • March 25  Deadline to register online, by mail, or update registration info
  • April 3  Ballots mailed
  • April 4  Ballot drop boxes open
  • April 15  In-person voter registration for new voters
    • Renton: King County Elections Office (919 SW Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057-2906)
    • Seattle: Voter Registration Annex (500 4th Avenue, Room 440, Seattle, WA 98014)
  • April 23 Election Day!  Ballots must be postmarked on or before April 23 to be counted. Or, return your ballot at an accessible voting center or 24-hour drop box, by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
  • May 3  April Election certified

There are no Snoqualmie Valley School District measures on the April 23 ballot.
