Summer Gifted Testing for New Students in Grades 1-8 Next Year
Registration for Summer Gifted Testing is now open. Summer gifted testing is available for students who will be new to the Snoqualmie Valley School District in grades 1-8 the 2019-20 school year, or current students in grades K-7 who enrolled after the fall testing window (November 2018).
This testing is to qualify students for gifted services, either in the STREAM self-contained classroom or through cluster classrooms in a single content area. Click here for more information about the Snoqualmie Valley School District’s Gifted Program.
How to register for testing:
If you wish to have your student/child tested, and meet the eligibility requirements, please complete the summer nomination form (link below) and return it to Nicky Edwards in the Teaching and Learning Department at the District Office. Forms must be mailed to PO BOX 400, Snoqualmie, WA 98065 or hand carried to the District Office located at 8001 Silva Ave SE, Snoqualmie, 98065. NOTE: Emailed or faxed nomination forms will not be accepted.
All forms must be received by the District Office or have a post mark no later than July 1, 2019. For eligibility questions, please contact Nicky Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The testing will take place at Cascade View Elementary School on Wednesday, August 7, and Thursday, August 8, at 9 a.m. both days. Transportation will not be provided. Parents, please plan for your students to attend both days of testing.
Once registration is closed and testing schedules are finalized, parents will receive notification by email with the specific arrival and pick-up times, as well as helpful testing day information.
