STEM Fest 2013

All Snoqualmie Valley high school and middle school families are encouraged to attend STEM Fest 2013 - a STEM information night and celebration on Monday, February 11, from 6-8 pm at Mount Si High School. This first-time event will showcase STEM-based student work happening across all grade levels and introduce new courses/curriculum to be offered at the Mount Si High School Freshman Campus and main campus next year that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) concepts.

Mount Si High School's vision is shifting to STEM-based education to open more doors of opportunity for every student to succeed in 21st Century careers. At STEM Fest 2013, families will learn more about what STEM education is, why it is important and the focus of schools across the nation, and how Mount Si High School is expanding its educational program to better prepare students for their futures. Important information will be shared that families should consider and discuss prior to student registration for 2013-14 high school classes this spring.

With the MSHS Freshman Campus opening next fall, learn about several positive changes coming to Mount Si High School and all Snoqualmie Valley students as follows:

  • Preview STEM-related 2013-14 courses before registering for next year.
  • Find out what STEM is and why it is important to every student's future.
