Superintendent Aune announced this morning that Kerstin Kramer will serve as principal of Snoqualmie Elementary School in a permanent capacity through the remainder of this year and for years to come. Kramer was named interim principal seven months ago, which provided a transition period for the school's leadership, after Cori Pflug moved to Wenatchee last June.
In a letter to SES staff and parents today, Superintendent Aune said, "I've seen Kerstin work diligently to make the transition of leadership at Snoqualmie Elementary a smooth, productive, and positive one. Her passion for teaching and learning, focus on children first, and ability to work productively with parents and staff are just a few of the qualities that I believe Kerstin brings to the principalship. I am convinced that this appointment of Kerstin will further perpetuate the infusion of dedicated, thoughtful, and visionary leadership at your school."
