Nominate an Educator of the Year

Do you know someone in your school who...

  • Inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn?
  • Has the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues?
  • Leads by example?
  • Plays an active and useful role in the scholastic environment?

If YES, we hope you will take a moment to recognize that excellent educator in your life by nominating them for the Educator of the Year awards program, sponsored by the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation.

Who is eligible for this recognition? The nominee must be a staff member who has been employed by the Snoqualmie Valley School District for at least three year. There are four categories awards: elementary, middle school, and high school educators, plus classified staff (custodian, food services, transportation, maintenance, office, etc.)

Who can nominate? Anyone -- a parent, student, fellow educators or members of the community.

How do you nominate someone? Click here for a nomination form and explain why you think someone in your school should be an Educator of the Year.

DEADLINE: Nomination packets must be postmarked on or before February 6, 2013 to be considered for this year's award.

Winners will be notified by the first week of March, and honored on March 28, 2013 at the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation's Annual Spring Luncheon.
