The District has launched an online engagement activity, called Thoughtexchange, to solicit feedback on a new high school design.
Students, staff, parents and community members are invited to participate. If you did not receive an email invitation from “Thoughtexchange - Joel Aune,” simply go to the district website to participate or click on the image below now.
During the first step of the engagement process, participants will be asked three open-ended questions regarding their concerns, desires and vision for a new high school design for Mount Si High School. This first “SHARE Your Thoughts” phase of the process will be open for input from March 25 through April 5, 2015.
Later in April, a second step in the process, called “STAR Your Thoughts”, will ask people to help prioritize the comments that were submitted, by assigning stars to the comments they feel are most important. The second phase will take place after spring break, around April 15-24.
The results that emerge as common themes from this Thoughtexchange will be shared with the Design Team, as they work to create a school design to best serve the learning needs of Snoqualmie Valley students for years to come.
We value your perspective and hope you will take a few minutes to share your thoughts via Thoughtexchange!
Another opportunity for community involvement:
In addition to this online process, a Community Meeting regarding the High School Design Planning is scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at 6 p.m. in the Mount Si High School library.
