Students Uphold the Power of Possibility

This year, 65 youth in grades 5-8, from Snoqualmie Valley and Riverview schools, attended the 8th Annual Be the Change Youth Summit. Promoting the theme of “The Power of Possibility,” the leadership event was held on March 21 from 8:30am - 4:30pm, at the Mount Si Freshman Campus.

In addition, Natural Helpers from Mount Si High School spent their Saturday participating in activities, presenting topics for discussion and mentoring middle school students at the summit.

The Be the Change Summit, hosted by the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network, provides team-building, inspiration, leadership training, and breakout sessions on bullying, self-image, drug abuse, suicide and cyber-bullying.
