Kindergarten and New Student Registration Continues

Hundreds of young students, who will comprise the graduating class of 2029, registered for Kindergarten on March 1, for the 2016-17 school year. See photos below.

If you know of a family with a child turning five years old by August 31, who may have missed this event, please direct them to register their student at their school. Kindergarten students attending the new Timber Ridge Elementary School (which is still under construction) will need to turn in enrollment packets at the District Office (8001 Silva Avenue SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065).

Enrollment packets are available at every school and online. Click here for a packet and more information about New Student/Kindergarten Registration. This includes details on the District’s 2016-17 full-day and half-day kindergarten program options.

Please register new students as soon as possible for next fall, as the District is preparing now for the start of school next fall.

Upon registration, families of kindergartners will receive information about some special activities planned this spring, designed to ensure students experience a successful start to school. The dates of these activities — which include Kindergarten Screener sessions, Kindergarten Orientation, and Family Connection meetings — vary for each elementary school.

NOTE: Older students, who will be transitioning from other Snoqualmie Valley schools to attend Timber Ridge Elementary School next fall, DO NOT need to re-enroll or fill out any special forms. These changes will be made automatically based on the approved attendance boundaries for those already attending schools in the District.
